The collection has been unveiled through a series of private events hosted at our most iconic U.S. boutiques. These were intimate, bespoke experiences designed to welcome each guest into our world—a world built on authentic beauty, unique details, and deeply personal stories.
Tailored Gems is born from our family’s passion for art, and for goldsmithing—one of the oldest and most profound artistic expressions. Naples, our home, is also the cradle of one of the world’s richest goldsmithing traditions. In the heart of the city lies the Borgo Orefici, a historic district where generations of skilled hands have passed down their knowledge. In 1380, Queen Joanna I of Anjou officially established the Goldsmiths’ Guild, cementing the area’s status as a center of artisanal excellence. It was here that masterpieces of immeasurable value were created, such as the statues and furnishings of the Treasure of St. Gennaro—living testaments to Neapolitan artistry.
To honor this heritage, we turned to a high jewelry workshop that shares our DNA: family-owned, independent, and proudly Made in Italy. Together, we’ve created a collection that merges the elegance of form with the power of symbolism.
At the heart of the collection is the circle: a symbol of eternity, harmony, and continuity. The same circle that appears in our signature red dot. Repeating in various sizes, the circular elements are linked together to bring fluidity and rhythm to the designs. The necklace, for instance, can be held in one hand like fabric—but once worn, it wraps around the body with the mastery of true artisanship.
Each piece is designed to accompany different moments in life, naturally and effortlessly. From full pavé necklaces for special evenings, to hinged bracelets in rich tones perfect for daily wear, to long necklaces that drape with ease over a crisp white shirt at work. Rings and bracelets that follow the body’s contours—enhancing without overpowering.
The materials chosen reflect our timeless aesthetic: white gold with diamonds, yellow gold with brown diamonds, paired with a sensitivity to color that has always defined our style. And, of course, blue—intense, deep, unmistakable. Our sapphires are a nod to the iconic Blue Diamond fabric, woven from ultra-fine 14-micron wool. A tribute inspired by the affectionate name our founder, Ciro Paone, gave his wife: “You are my blue diamond.”
What makes Tailored Gems truly our own is its bespoke spirit. Every client can personalize their jewel by choosing the stones and colors that speak to them—transforming each piece into something unrepeatable. One of the most iconic designs is a modern ring, intentionally hollow at the center, ready to hold a stone of the wearer’s choosing. A simple gesture that makes the piece even more meaningful.
